Welcome to the DeKalb Public Library Events by Email list!

 

Friday, February 1st - Browse happy at the Library!  The OH Café is open in the Fiction Room from 2:00pm to 5:30pm.  Buy a cup of coffee, cocoa, or tea!  Sample some homemade cookies, scones or cakes!  Prices are very reasonable and proceeds benefit both Opportunity House and the DeKalb Public Library.

 

Saturday, February 2nd - 10:00am to 4:30pm - OH Café is open in the Fiction Room!

 

Sunday, February 3rd - We are open 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Sundays, and the OH Café is open 2:00pm to 4:30pm!

 

Monday, February 4th - 7:00pm A Visit with Mary Todd Lincoln (as portrayed by Valerie Gugala), wife of President Abraham Lincoln!  All ages are welcome to this presentation.  Program cost is $1.00 at the door.

 

Tuesday, February 5th - 6:30pm Beginner Knitting classes (open to those who have already registered)

 

Wednesday, February 6th - 7:00pm Destination Wonder (Sci-Fi, Fantasy & Horror Adult Book Club) discusses Paragaea.  All adults are welcome to join us!

 

Thursday, February 7th - 6:30pm Heroes @ Your Library (Graphic Novel Teen Book Club) reads Beet: The Vandel Buster.  All teens are welcome to join us!
