***Coming Up*** Music In The Stacks makes its return! Last year we had a blast with local bands performing after hours at the library, with drinks and snacks provided by Eduardo's Restaurant. This year we have even more groups planned, including a DeKalb High School Jazz Combo, Huntley Middle School's Orchestra, and Huntley Middle School's Jazz Band! Music In The Stacks is part of the library's Endowment Fund Drive, and all proceeds will benefit the Endowment Fund. For more information, please contact Katherine Keyes at 815-756-9568 ext 26 or by email at kathyk at dkpl.org
***Coming Up*** Elizabeth Berg, author of Open House, We Are All Welcome Here, and the upcoming The Day I Ate Whatever I Wanted is coming to the DeKalb Public Library! Join us on Saturday, July 12th at 12:30pm at the Barsema Visitor's Center on NIU's campus for the final event of the library's Endowment Fund Drive. The program will include a luncheon, lecture, and a question-and-answer time, as well as a book signing opportunity. Tickets are on sale now for $30.00 per person for lunch and lecture, and $20.00 for lecture only.
